Cultured marble, now referred to in the industry as an “engineered composite”, is a mix of polyester resin and natural marble stone dust cast or formed in a variety of standard and custom molds to make a variety of products such as bathtubs, whirlpool decks, shower pans and wet walls, windowsills, ADA compliant bathroom fixtures, and vanity tops with a surface that resembles marble. Though it is a less expensive alternative to real marble, it has 4 times the strength of natural stone. Most manufacturers will use a minimum ratio of polyester resin to stone dust because it is more “cost-efficient”—but Dickson Vanity stands out, above and beyond, in products we offer.

Dickson Vanity Cultured Marble Vanity Tops are held to a higher standard during the manufacturing process. Blending a higher density of natural marble stone dust with high strength synthetic resins, our cultured marble products rise above the competition. Using newer technology and a firm hand in quality control, Dickson Cultured Marble products stand out inside and out; a bubble-free and powder-less vanity top. Our manufacturing process encompasses several steps; one step uses a non-porous gel coat on the counters and sinks which seals the product and prevents later mold and bacteria growth and staining—where as our competition does not!

Dickson offers a 1-year installed warranty on its Cultured Marble products. Should the material become scratched or broken, it cannot be repaired.
