Unique Construction:

  • Dovetail jointing - this 100 year old technique is principally used for joining the ends and sides of drawers in fine grades of furniture and cabinets, but we have applied it to the overall construction of our vanity bases. The dovetail joint is the strongest of all wordworking joints.
  • 3/4" solid core plywood - covered on all exposed surfaces with Formica to reduce areas exposed to constant humidity in bathrooms, thereby reducing wear and tear on natural wood when exposed to repetitive moisture which lessens warping of the vanity as a whole.
  • Formica finished on all surfaces
  • Concealed, self-closing, 4-way adjustable hinges - can be adjusted up-down, towards or away, tilt left or right to suit any environment that our vanities are placed in.
  • 3/4" thick raised panel MDF (medium density fiberboard) doors - MDF is a type of hardboard, which is made from wood fibers glued under heat and pressure. It is dense, flat and stiff, has no knots and is easily machined. Because it is made up of fine particles, it does not have an easily recognizable surface grain. MDF can be painted to produce a smooth quality surface.
  • Thermofoil finish - Thermofoil is made of rigid, vinyl foil that is vacuumed and bladder pressed with a bonding adhesive onto a routered MDF substrate creating a flawless finish.
